Three Letters to our Lawmakers
I composed a three-layer erasure poem inspired by Stephen Colbert's monologue in March 2025: minute 6:10 (although the whole clip is great, as always).
I've added this poem as four image files. You might prefer the experience on a desktop or tablet, rather than on a phone.
My hope as you read this is that you'll really pay attention to the original document, reflecting on why it was written in the first place, and what it ought to be to us now.
